The Story of Highland Springs

For generations, people have come to Highland Springs to relax and spend time together. Once a stagecoach stop along the Bradshaw Trail, the ranch later became a health resort where much of the food was grown right here. Today, we continue that tradition through regenerative organic farming, while welcoming families to enjoy good food, the outdoors, and time with one another.

  1. 1862Smith's Station became a stop for stagecoaches traveling through Southern California.
  2. 1884The Highland Home Hotel opened, welcoming travelers to Cherry Valley.
  3. 1927Highland Springs became a health resort, serving wholesome meals made with produce grown on the property.
  4. 1948The ranch became a popular family getaway, with swimming, music, dancing, and summers that guests still remember.
  5. TodayA Regenerative Organic Certified® farm growing lavender, olives, and wine grapes, and welcoming visitors for festivals and seasonal gatherings.
